About 10 minutes結婚の日 · Our wedding day
26 · 12 · 2026
ひとつ屋根の下 · Beneath one roof
In a quiet house near the sea, we will exchange our vows and begin our next chapter together. We wanted to celebrate with the people who matter most to us, and we hope you’ll join us for a day of laughter, good food, and celebration.
ふたりの物語 · Our story
Our story started during the long dark winter in London in 2025.
On a typical gloomy day, Hitomi caught Shawn’s attention with a photo of her elegantly eating a donut. Shawn caught hers with a smirk while sitting alone in the Sahara desert.
Two people who were never supposed to cross paths somehow happened to swipe right at exactly the right time. That one swipe led to countless delicious meals, fun dates, and long conversations. From noodles in Chinatown to homemade takoyaki, from shooting arrows to wandering through flower markets, we slowly built a life around the simple joy of being together.
Somewhere along the way, we held each other’s hands and never let go again.
We discovered not only shared interests, but also shared values, dreams, and hopes for the future. Our favourite things became cooking for each other, running together, travelling together, and telling each other every week what we love about one another.
With each passing day, love and happiness quietly filled our hearts. Together, we felt we could overcome anything, whether it was running a first half marathon in the summer heat or learning to dive in cold water.
One year later, during another long dark London winter, on another ordinary gloomy day, we made a simple decision:
to stop being boyfriend and girlfriend, and become partners for the rest of our lives.

装い · Dress code
Our dress code is semi-formal, but we’d simply love for you to wear something that feels festive and comfortable.
If you’re looking for inspiration, dark suits, cocktail or midi dresses, polished separates, and kimono would all be perfect choices. As the ceremony will take place outdoors, a warm coat is also recommended.
Please note that guests will be asked to remove their shoes before entering the house.
Here are some places in Kamakura where you can rent kimono. Let us know if you need any help arranging it.

Kamakura in December is chilly but sunny on most days. Temperatures are usually around 12–15°C (54–59°F) during the day and 4–8°C (39–46°F) at night.
Your presence is truly the greatest gift we could receive. As many of our guests will be travelling a long way to celebrate with us, we kindly ask that you do not feel any obligation to bring a gift. Simply come ready to celebrate with us!
Absolutely. Add dietary requirements to your RSVP and we will coordinate with the kitchen.
Parking near the venue is very limited. We recommend arriving by train and using a taxi or local bus from Kamakura Station.
