In a quiet house near the sea, we will exchange our vows and begin our next chapter together. We wanted to celebrate with the people who matter most to us, and we hope you’ll join us for a day of laughter, good food, and celebration.
ふたりの物語 · Our story
Our story began in February 2025, during a long, dark winter in London. On a typical gloomy day, Hitomi caught Shawn’s attention with a photo of her elegantly eating a donut. Shawn caught hers with a smirk while sitting alone in the Sahara desert.
Two people who were never supposed to cross paths somehow happened to swipe right at exactly the right moment. That one swipe led to countless delicious meals, fun dates, and conversations that lasted long after midnight. From noodles in Chinatown to homemade takoyaki, from shooting arrows to wandering through flower markets, we slowly built a life around the simple joy of being together.
Somewhere along the way, we held each other’s hands and never let go again. What we found in each other was more than shared interests. It was shared values, shared dreams, and a shared vision of the life we wanted to build. Our favourite things became cooking for each other, running together, travelling together, and telling each other every week what we love about one another.
Day by day, love and happiness quietly filled our hearts. Together, we felt we could overcome anything—whether it was running our first half marathon in the summer heat or learning to dive in freezing cold water.
Then, one year later, during another long, dark London winter, on another ordinary gloomy day, we made a simple decision: to stop being boyfriend and girlfriend, and become partners for the rest of our lives.

装い · Dress code
Our dress code is semi-formal, but we’d simply love for you to wear something that feels festive and comfortable. If you’re looking for inspiration, dark suits, cocktail or midi dresses, polished separates, and kimono would all fit right in. As we’ll be celebrating in December, a warm coat is recommended, and shoes will be removed inside the house.
Here are some places in Kamakura where you can rent kimono. Let us know if you need any help arranging it.
